Whether you're slicing fresh citrus for an old fashioned, preparing a quick lunch, serving appetizers to friends, or adding a handcrafted accent to your kitchen, the Pennyroyal Cutting Board is designed to bring both beauty and everyday function to your countertop.
Inspired by the rolling hills and winding country roads of Kentucky's Pennyroyal region, this board features an eye-catching chevron pattern handcrafted from black walnut, cherry, padauk, and hard maple. The rich colors come entirely from the natural wood itself, allowing the unique grain and character of each species to shine through without the use of dyes or stains.
I designed this smaller version of Pennyroyal for the moments when a full-size cutting board is more than you need. It's perfect for slicing fruit, herbs, cheese, and garnishes, serving a small charcuterie spread, or keeping within easy reach for everyday kitchen tasks.
Each board is handcrafted one at a time in my Lexington, Kentucky workshop. Low-profile silicone feet provide a stable, non-slip surface while protecting your countertops from scratches.
To help ensure years of use, every Pennyroyal Cutting Board is thoroughly conditioned with food-grade mineral oil and natural beeswax, and includes a complimentary 2 oz tin of Larson Wood Designs Board Butter for continued care.
